A state-of-the-art website and video platform is currently being built by Sidearm Sports to accommodate the growing popularity in new media.

Once completed, Bulldog fans will enjoy a fresh look on CitadelSports.com, with an added emphasis on graphics, video features, coaches shows and social media for all our 16 NCAA Division I sports.

The Bulldogs’ home slate kicks off on Aug. 22 when the women’s soccer team takes on USC Upstate at WLI Field at 4 p.m.

The Citadel football team, under the direction of first-year head coach Mike Houston, begins its season on Aug. 30 against nationally-ranked FCS foe Coastal Carolina at Johnson Hagood Stadium at 6 p.m.

The men’s cross country team hits the road for an Aug. 29 opener in Conway, S.C., while the women prepare for their meet the following day in Columbia, S.C.

After opening the season on the road, the women’s volleyball team begins its home schedule at McAlister Field House on Sept. 5 when it hosts The Citadel Tournament. The Bulldogs’ first match will be against N.C. A&T with matches against Stetson and Charleston Southern the following day.

Bulldog fans are encouraged to come out for the annual “Meet the Bulldogs” event on Sunday, Aug. 17 from 1-3 p.m. at the Altman Center, located behind the South end zone of Johnson Hagood Stadium.
